Roof restoration
Concrete tiles cleaned, repointed and recoated in grey
Plenty of tired-looking roofs are structurally fine. If the tiles and timbers are sound, a roof restoration gets another ten to fifteen years out of it for a fraction of the cost of replacing it. We restore tiled roofs across Adelaide and South Australia.
A roof restoration fixes the parts of a tiled roof that fail, the pointing, the ridge capping and the broken tiles, then seals and recoats the whole roof so it sheds water properly and looks new from the street.
If your ridge capping has cracked, the pointing has crumbled or the colour has faded to chalk, the roof probably looks worse than it is. Restoration fixes the parts that fail and leaves the parts that work.
We pressure clean it, replace broken tiles, re-bed and repoint the ridge with flexible pointing, then apply a primer, colour coat and clear glaze. It sheds water again, reflects heat, and looks new from the street.

These are the usual signs that a tiled roof is due for a restoration rather than a replacement.
We price every restoration on site and put it in writing. These are the things that change it.
Greater Adelaide and the Hills every day, and regularly right across the state. Not sure if we come to you? Ring and ask. The answer is usually yes.
All of it is written into the quote before we start.
Someone gets up on the roof or into the space and photographs what is there. You see the photos. No sales pitch.
For carports and verandahs we draw it in CAD and show you a 3D picture. Every job gets a written quote with the scope and inclusions spelled out.
Where council approval or engineering is needed, we prepare and lodge it. Then we book a start date and tell you what to expect each day.
Licensed trades, on site when we said, working to the quoted scope. If something unexpected turns up we stop and speak to you first.
We clear the site, sweep the driveway and lawn for screws, and take every offcut away. Then we walk the finished job with you and pass on the maker's warranty for the materials, so you are left with a job done properly and nothing to chase up.
It depends on the size and pitch of the roof, how many tiles and ridge caps need work, the valleys, and access. We inspect it for free and give you a fixed price in writing. If the roof is past restoring, we will tell you that too.
It comes down to the tiles and the timbers, not the look. If both are sound, restoring is usually the better spend. We will tell you which one you are looking at, even if that means a smaller job for us.
A well-prepared and coated tile roof will usually go 10 to 15 years before it needs attention again. The pointing lasts longer than that.
If the leak is coming from failed pointing, a cracked tile or a rusted valley, yes, because we fix all three. If the leak is structural, a restoration will not fix it and we will say so up front.
Yes. We bring samples and hold them against your bricks before anything gets sprayed.
